Ever wonder why they are a lot of
elderly people in rural areas & they seem to be doing fine despite their
old age. Some might even be able to ride bicycles, go to the farm despite being
over 90 years old. These people don’t use some expensive cream or drugs they
just follow a simple routine of life. Naturally a human cannot pass his
predestined time of death, but before that time comes you can help yourself by
having a full, healthy & happy life as opposed to waiting for death laying
down powerlessly in bed. Some of the few things you can do to extend your life
include
Avoid processed food
Nowadays majority of people
prefer to eat ready-made food, because it saves time & is easier to cook, the
problem here is different kinds of chemicals & artificial ingredients are
used to preserve that particular food, it is not harmful in little amount (that
is what the label on all processed products say). The more you eat the greater
the effects on your body. The fact of the matter is, the agencies responsible
for checking food quality don’t exactly do their jobs most of the time, this may
be due to lack of funding, carelessness or they have been bribed by the said
company to make sure their products are approved despite it failing several
quality checks. Not only that, most processed food encourage weight gain and
chronic diseases due to their high sugar, fructose & refined carbohydrate.
It should also be noted that processed food have low nutrient and fiber content.
So if you seriously want to see your grand kids & play with them, reducing
your consumption of processed food as much as possible is a very good idea.
Exercise
Spending the whole day on the
couch or your bed isn’t exactly a good way to live. Exercising frequently will
boost your immune system, it will keep you active, happy & very confident
of your body shape. No need to spend hours exercising if you aren’t up to it. A
few minutes of rigorous exercise to circulate and pump blood around your body
while making your heart beat faster than normal is enough.
Don’t over eat
When eating food, don’t overeat
to the extent of getting over satisfied, when having a meal at any time we
should control our appetite, when you feel about 75-85% full, it’s enough.
Eating any more than that usually leads to overeating & finally falling
asleep. The end result will be obesity.
Patience
A very patient person can survive
a very long time, his stress level will always be low, so be patient in
whatever you do. Majority of problems in this world are due to lack of patience.
don’t be in a hurry to get that iPhone 7, it will find its way to you
eventually.
Eat Natural & dink

Natural food is good for you,
when going grocery shopping get lots of fresh ingredient, always prepare your
meal with natural & fresh ingredients. Tea has been known to contain
polyphenols which is very kind to the extent of helping your body fight
premature aging.
Kindness
This article is not encouraging
you to be a bleeding heart. Just so you know being nice has nothing to do with
allowing people to step on you. Try and lend a helping hand to others when
possible. But remember when you see a person sitting in the sun, THERE IS A
VERY GOD REASON THE WORLD PUT HIM/HER THERE. So make sure you investigate
before helping anybody unless of course you’re a daredevil who likes to take
unnecessary risks which may lead to your destruction.

We are in the modern era, almost everyone
has a mobile phone, which is very good as communication is made easier and
faster. But this is fast becoming a curse as some people are so glued to their
mobile phones, they sleep, eat, walk, drive and even visit the toilet with
their mobile phones. Those little gadgets constantly release little amounts of
radiation, which accumulates on your body since the phone is ALWAYS with you.
Try and keep your phone for a while, interact with people face to face. You are
not a machine, do not only speak or contact people through electronic gadgets.
When walking/driving keep your phone away, watch where you are going, unless of
course your planning to jump into a ditch or ramp into a wall, person or a vehicle.
Stop smoking
If the sign that says "smokers are
liable to die young" on the pack of cigarettes isn’t enough to deter you from
smoking, then you have some serious issues. Let me give you another reason, 10
years is a very long time right, well smoking reduce your lifespan by that
much, it also paints your innards dark, you will look older than you are
supposed to & be plaque with different debilitative illness during your old
age, which ends up making you a burden to your family. So what do you think?,
